This position requires a deep understanding of traffic management principles, highway design standards, and traffic flow systems, along with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Highways Design: Develop innovative and efficient designs for highways, intersections, and road networks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  2. Traffic Management: Design and implement effective traffic management strategies to improve safety, reduce congestion, and enhance traffic flow in school and council areas.

  3. Traffic Design: Utilize advanced software tools and simulation models to analyze traffic patterns, identify bottlenecks, and propose design solutions that optimize traffic movement.

  4. Traffic Flow Systems: Implement intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and traffic control devices to manage traffic flow effectively, including traffic signals, signage, and lane markings.

  5. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and government agencies to coordinate transportation projects, address community concerns, and ensure project success.

  6. Project Management: Lead transportation projects from initiation to completion, including feasibility studies, design development, construction oversight, and post-implementation evaluation.

  7. Technical Expertise: Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in transportation engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes and exceed client expectations.

  8. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed design drawings, technical reports, and project documentation, and effectively communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) and traffic engineering software (e.g., VISSIM, SYNCHRO).

  • Solid understanding of highway design standards (e.g., AASHTO, MUTCD) and traffic engineering principles.

  • Proven experience in transportation project management, preferably in a consulting environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, sustainability, and innovation in transportation engineering.

Benefits:
