Leading South Manchester Consultancy seeking a TRAFFIC ENGINEER for local authority projects; 6 Month Contract

The Role:
You will maintain service standards during organisational changes and provide support to the Councils Neighbourhood Teams in relation to Transport Issues, Parking Difficulties, and Inconsiderate Parking, Obstructions of the Carriageway / Footway, Traffic Regulation Orders, Highway Signage, Speed Limits, and TRO processes.

The Candidate:
Good knowledge of working with Traffic Regulation Orders and the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2002 and 2016.   
Experience of having worked in a Highways Traffic Design within a local authority would be of considerable benefit. 
A good understanding of the TRO process and the role of the Highway Authority.
