Highways Development Control Engineer; 2mth plus contract, Worcester, rate c£30.0/hour  
KEY SKILLS: Traffic Engineer, Development Control, Highways 

The Role: 
Advising the Local Planning Authorities, developers, architects, highway consultants, public and councilors; in relation to planning applications to ensure that developments are being delivered in accordance with the Council’s policies and standards.
Assessment of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans and other supporting documents submitted with planning applications to identify and offer solutions to address the impact of proposals on adjacent roads and the rest of the highway network. 
The evaluation, negotiation and delivery/monitor of progress of the consequential highway mitigation work securing S278, S38 and S106 Agreements between relevant parties. 
Attend meetings with Local Planning Authorities, Councilors, developers, contractors, colleagues and other organisation to discuss highway development control issues.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Highways Development Control Engineer with a min of 5years experience of working within a local Authority Traffic/highways department.
You will be HND/Degree level qualified
