3 month Contract for a Traffic Technician to work on minor highway, traffic and road safety schemes
KEY Skills: Traffic, AutoCAD, Local Authority

The Role:
Working with the local authority on the design of various traffic schemes
Liaise with other team members associated with the design and supervision of allocated schemes
Maintain accurate records on the allocated projects – including managing the project budgets for time and works

The Candidate:
Tasks are varied; you will be experienced in some of the following:
Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs)
Traffic Surveys
Design of Traffic Calming, Controlled parking zones, 20mph Zones, Quality Bus Corridors, Safer Routes to School, 
Design and draughting of minor safety improvements, crossings, kerb buildouts
Handling Public Consultations for both CPZ's and Traffic Calming Proposals
Preparation of contract documents
Bills of quantities for major and minor junction improvement,
Design of highway / traffic schemes and maintenance of records relating to highways
Liaising with other departments and members of the general public
